The natural opportunities to encourage each other at church, in cafes and homes have been stripped away from us. Our prayer is that when life returns to normal is that we will emerge with a stronger sense of love, belonging and connection. Therefore, we need a pastoral care model that fits this season of social distancing. In response, over the coming months we will minister with 4 pastoral care teams:
1. Emergencies (hospital visitation by ministers, weddings, baptisms and funerals). Team Leader: Geoff Thompson.
*If you are able to help, please contact David Thuaux at email@example.com
If you require assistance with technical or shopping need, please contact David, or mention it when a team member calls.
Meanwhile, our encouragement to all members is to phone and text each other, and send a few good old fashioned cards. Continue to practise thankfulness, and remember to uphold each other in prayer.
On behalf of the All Saints ministry team
“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God”
